20 year old Marie Ulven goes by her stage name “Girl in Red,” and her music seems to be in the indie realm instead of the pop music world, like the previous artists discussed.

She is very open with her sexuality, in songs like “i wanna be your girlfriend,” and “girls.”

Just like many of the other artists, Ulven wants to help others feel comfortable with their feelings. She wants queer musicians to be talked about more so that more attention is brought to them and allows queer people to feel safe.

Like Olly Alexander, Girl in Red also wants to talk about mental health in the LGBTQ community, and she does that specifically through her song “Summer Depression.”
